The Reconnaissance team is well-equipped to create precise, high-quality drawings of products depicting the 7 views mandatorily required to support any design application. These are: top, bottom, right, left, front, back and isometric. Our drawings are in accordance with the rules and requirements of the receiving design office wherever it may be in the world. We also arrange the clicking and submitting of high-resolution professional photographs (all 7 views) while filing for design rights.

What We Do

The Reconnaissance team monitors the design journal released every week by the Indian Patent & Design Office containing registered (granted) design rights. Every week, we provide our clients with i) information on designs from a particular industry/class and/or ii) information on competitors’ designs. This information can be used for applying for cancellation of designs. This information can be used for the cancellation of designs. It can also be useful to stay updated with latest industry industry or to scope out your competition and their new launches.

What We Do

The file wrapper is a basic tool where the prosecution history of a design is documented. This is where significant documents such as objections, ownership details etc. are recorded along with any revisions. Reviewing file wrappers is useful for various purposes such as searches, IP monetization, etc.

We have a solid docketing team that is very familiar with the prosecution processes of designs across multiple jurisdictions. We can also handle the required documentation and all the extendible as well as non-extendible timelines for each design application/registration. These include deadlines for responding to objections, renewals and so on.

The team has experience with varied docketing platforms and promptly enters, updates and maintains your design records. This includes all documentation, correspondence and invoices for you on our docketing system or through remote access to your electronic docketing system. It is easy to create tasks or retrieve information with our docketing support. The team regularly sends out reminders to clients to ensure that no deadlines are missed as well as instructions (if required) to act on the reminders.

The Reconnaissance team has the expertise to assist clients with the time-intensive, demanding and difficult task of migrating to a different docketing system. If required, we provide clients with inputs on suitable options. Our data team is always at hand to audit the data during and after the migration process. Also, our docketing team continues to provide support post-migration.

• Digitization of Documents & Creation of a Searchable Database – This includes scanning hard copy documents and creating their electronic versions with an easy to use search function for the data.
• Invoice Management – This includes ensuring the generation of timely invoices and indexing of invoices according to the type of work done or any other customizable parameter. We also look after following up with clients for invoice payment and due dates, resending invoices when asked by clients. This prevents the unnecessary hassle of locating and individually sending out invoices, tracking vendor invoice payment, etc.
